Balance in Health
Balance in Health

Why do people come and see me?

People come to see me because I work with the body’s energy channels, looking at the cause of a condition, not just disguising symptoms, and also working on the immune system.

I am certified in Whole Food Plant Based Nutrition (Cornell University and Winchester University) and I trained for many years in Chinese healing methods.

My spiritual path and teachers are Tibetan Buddhist masters.

My ethnic origin is British and Asian. I am based in Kusnacht, Switzerland.

MY STORY

I lived in Hong Kong as a child, my father was British, my mother was Chinese, with Mongolian ancestry. I moved back to Hong Kong in the 1990s, and after travelling extensively around South East Asia and the Indian Sub-Continent, with the main aim to experience different cultures, to go diving and trekking,

I decided to go to Nepal and trek in the Himalayas. I was in the Kathmandu Guesthouse in Thamel, Kathmandu, Nepal, when I met a man who asked if I would like to have a reading done. At first, I was very skeptical, but we sat in the garden and he told me my path was meditation and healing. I had been meditating on and off with an interest in Taoism for a few years. But this was different.

He told me that I had to pursue Kalachakra. He told me to write the name down, otherwise I would forget it. He was using tarot cards and laid down the card of the Magician. He said this was me. It was very strange, surreal. It seemed quite genuine for me because he was a Hindu practitioner, advising me to follow a Buddhist path. He said that I should go to a place in India called Dharamsala where I would meet a very special monk who would tell me about Kalachakra.

The next day I went on my trek and kept thinking about what he had said. I felt compelled to travel to Dharamsala, a place I had never been to. I flew to Delhi and took a night bus to Dharamsala where a large Tibetan community lives.  On arrival the next morning, a young Tibetan woman I met on the bus took me to a guesthouse she recommended.

In the restaurant I met an American who was the partner of a friend in Hong Kong. He was meeting a lama the next day. The lama was the holder of the Kalachakra lineage, Kirti Tsenshab Rinpoche.  There were only two. The Dalai Lama was the other. I didn’t know this at the time. This launched me on my Buddhist path.

Venerable Saddhaloka in Hong Kong

Giving His Holiness the Dalai Lama a healing

I first really started using my gift of healing when I met a very special Buddhist monk in Hong Kong, Saddhaloka Bikkhu. I had been living there again, having lived there as a child. We would meet for lunch on Mondays and people would be brought to him, suffering from different illnesses or conditions. He was German, fluent in Chinese, Pali, Sanskrit and other languages. His Chinese medicinal prescriptions were beautifully written, like calligraphy. He started to teach me the acupuncture points, taking me on as a long-term student. Teaching me about the different points in a very slow process, he observed that I could “feel” symptoms from individuals, and encouraged this practice, teaching me what it was I was observing.

He taught me to use the electro-acupuncture machine and to develop the ability to use my energy to assist in the healing. Sometimes, not using the machine, but just my hands, or fingertip touch to heal. This developed over the years and I use these methods in my treatments.

We are all on a journey of life and its experiences, each one being different. We all aspire to be happy and sometimes we need a little guidance or help.  My aspiration is to be of service and to create balance and harmony in health and life.
